Steven Shames and Robert Byrum met at William & Mary Law School in the 1970's and the vision of starting their practice together began. Steven Shames had a way of making his clients feel at ease in whatever legal situation they were dealing with. He practiced law for 48 years and has been remembered fondly by so many. He passed away in July 2022 leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met.
